Our Credentials… Our passion for food has led to both national and international recognition over the years. Boasting not one, but two, international UK chef’s of the year, Aagrah has recently been awarded “Best Restaurant Group in the UK” at the prestigious British Curry Awards. We are grateful to the public who voted for us, allowing us to triumph over 2,800 nominated restaurants throughout the UK. Aagrah ~ award winning quality… Mohammed Aslam Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award at the ABDN Dinner 2010 Mohammed Aslam MBE Managing Director and Executive Chef of the Aagrah Group of Restaurants was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the ABDN's 12th Annual Dinner, which was held at the Royal Armouries on the 1st April 2010.
The award is in recognition of his services to the hospitality industry and the community, and recognises more than 30 years of dedictaed service. |  | Mohammed Aslam Awarded an MBE Mohammed Aslam, Managing Director and Executive Chef of the Aagrah Group of Restaurant, has been honoured with an MBE in recognition for his services to the hospitality industry in the Queen’s New Year’s honours list January 2010. The British Curry Awards 2009 Aagrah Garforth were the proud winners of the Best Restaurant in the North East. The British Curry Awards are widely recognised as the Oscars of Britain’s spice restaurant industry. This award was for best restaurant specialising in a national or regional cuisine (excluding British). | | Leeds Restaurant Association - Lets Eat Leeds Awards 2008 Aagrah Leeds wins Best Indian Restaurant in Leeds British Curry Awards 2008 Aagrah Sheffield scoops Best newcomer in the UK 2008.
